I Rolls Dolo Pt. II (The T-Mo Era)
So this post has been put off for the last 3+ months, but I was reviewing my blog (after changing the template up again), and decided to actually finish this post.
Wow. It actually took a minute to find a picture of this phone. I don't really remember the reasons why I bought this one. There was nothing really special about it, except that it had a joystick instead of a d-pad (which NO ONE else had at the time) It didn't do nothing special no ringtones, no nothing, one game (brick), but it was still a good phone. The lack of functionality and customization seriously paralyzed this experience tho.

I never actually had this phone, but I'm including it anyways cuz i was sizing this phone up for so long. It was the first GSM phone I wanted (after the switch from TDMA), it was a COLOR screen, which was amazing. I was about to switch to Suncom because they were about to offer the phone. It was basically my old phone, but with a color screen. I'm kinda happy I didn't end up getting this one though, it looks a littly fruity now.

The switch to T-Mo. AT&T's plans were jus so sh*tty that I couldn't stay with them any longer, and VZW was just waay too exp. So I went ahead and tried out the newbie in the group. and got me a 757 number officially making me Norfolk. I was gonna get a flip phone, cuz i really wanted one, but all of them were so wack. I ended up getting this one for pretty cheap, and WOW. Circular keyboard, first phone wit a camera (for me), video, mp3's, and a WORLD of customization. This was probably my favorite phone that I ever had in all truthfulness. It lagged at times, and I bricked one of them by putting like 15 after market applications on it at once, but damn.. this was a great phone. And the circular keypad? I still think I can text just as fast on this that I can on a keyboard.
I got it right before Xmas 2004. The Nokia had done alot, but I really wanted this one. It jus looked too tight, it had a full keyboard, a camera, and that's all I really needed to know before diving into this one. I had so many facecovers on this one, I almost forgot what it looked like without one.
7.) T-Mobile - Motorola Unlocked SLVR L9
I really don't know what it was about this phone that made me want it so bad. I had never used one, I didn't like RAZR's, I never even saw it in real life. I read about all the customization features, I wanted to go back to life without a keyboard, and I bit the bullet. I used it for like a month before I realized that this really wasn't a phone I could use day in day out. Oh well, at least its unlocked, so I can use it anywhere.
I just had to go back. I don't even know why I didn't upgrade to it after the SK2 in the first place. I wanted to be different and wound up being so dissatisfied. Even though sidekicks are a pain in the ass to customize, they are just a few steps away from being a really great phone. This one wasn't the lightyear jump that the SK2 was to the original, but there were still sum good upgrades.

Overall, I like my BB, it defintiely has its advantages. Who knows, maybe one day I'll go back to the SK (SK4, you BETTER be an upgrade), cuz I played around with the LX, which is definitely sleeker, screen is bigger, but pretty much the exact same phone. If they can make the SK4 more like a standard OS, instead of its tried-and-true-yet-old-and-constricting OS, i might come back.. when's that due date again?
